Have you heard of Jazzercise? No? Well here’s the good news.

Jazzercise is the ultimate dance party workout. Huge in the USA, it’s really getting big now in the UK. Our routines fuse cardio, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing and modern dance. Plus, we offer different formats for the variety you need to stay motivated.

Our instructors here at the Studio in Southernhay are expertly trained to mix in new moves with the latest hit music so our classes are always different, keeping your workouts fresh and challenging.

Each cardio-dance or muscle-toning sequence is choreographed to a specific song. Then, we combine sequences for a full-body workout that's customized to each class. You'll hear the music that you know and love plus discover new music that keeps you feeling strong all the way to the final stretch!

One 55-minute Jazzercise session can burn up to 800 calories so it’s your ticket to getting into shape and staying trim. You will feel your strength improve if you are taking a couple of classes each week but it’s so much more than that. There’s plenty of good parking in Southernhay plus the car parks in Magdalen Road and Magdalen Street are all free after 6pm.

Turn up and give it a go. Remember, we were all new once. Just come to class, move your body and have fun. When the beat drops you’ll be surprised what you can do!

One other thing. Get together! Ask a friend or relative to set herself up for success, too. Come along together and have a laugh and then try to get into the habit of swapping goal lists and scheduling regular check-ins with each other. You’ll be amazed how far you can both go with someone else cheering you on and sharing the fun.
